The Falmouth Chamber of Commerce and the Falmouth Immigrant Rights Coalition are
partnering to present a Business Advisory Workshop to train members of the business
community and all public-facing organizations on how to handle ICE encounters at the
workplace. The Workshop will introduce participants to the Falmouth Immigrant Rights
Coalition’s Business Advisory pamphlet which details how to prepare for an ICE encounter at
the workplace and what staff should know in advance of such an encounter. Participants will
discuss public and private spaces within the business venue, and what rights pertain to each
space. How to identify ICE warrants, what rights individuals have in interacting with ICE, and
what to expect in such an encounter will also be discussed.
