Description
"Bowling for Scholars" was created here in Massachusetts, the birthplace of candlepin bowling, to bring back the nostalgia of this unique sport and to raise funds for educational students in need of financial support. Two bowlers compete in three strings of bowling, with the winner getting to award the scholarship to the school of his/her choice, provided that school charges tuition. Funds are donated by local organizations. Every penny raised goes out in scholarships.
