Description
The Town of Falmouth will host a community outreach forum on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 to review the site selection process and solicit community input on the proposed site – 484 Brick Kiln Road.
The community forum will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Middle School Auditorium located at 113 Lakeview Ave, Falmouth, MA.
Representatives of the Police Station Advisory Committee, Police Department, as well as the owner’s project manager (OPM) and architect will provide a presentation to review the concept level designs and site selection process. Following the presentation, the public will be invited to ask questions and provide input on the site selection and conceptual designs.
“This is the second community outreach forum addressing the proposal for replacing the undersized police station with a state of the art facility,” said Town Manager Mike Renshaw. “We welcome the opportunity to inform community members of the comprehensive review of potential sites the Police Station Advisory Committee conducted with our Police Department command staff, Town staff and consulting professionals.” The primary focus of this forum is to solicit input on site selection. A request for funds to continue the design process from schematic design through construction bidding will be considered at the Town Meeting on November 17, 2025. The proposed timeline calls for Town Meeting consideration of construction funds in the fall of 2026.
