Description
The House referred several petitions to legislative committees. The House Ways and Means Committee recommended passage of a Senate-approved fiscal year 2025 supplemental budget, S 2540, with an amendment. After adoption of the amendment and third reading, the House engrossed the bill as amended. Due to a Senate vote of nonconcurrence, the bill moved to a committee of conference between the two Houses. The House also engrossed H 972, a bill authorizing the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority to supply water to the Lynnfield Center Water District within the town of Lynnfield.
