Falmouth students got a very vivid lesson recently, on what’s possible when you do your science homework.
They got a chance to connect LIVE with an American astronaut floating weightlessly aboard the International Space Station. The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution hosted the live event with a linkup that came courtesy of NASA. What made the event extra special, is that the astronaut, Loral O’Hara, used to work as a Research Engineer at WHOI... and she was part of the renowned Alvin submersible program. Here’s a little bit of that interaction now.
